Day 1: Pick-up from Kigali International Airport and transfer to Bwindi, in south-western Uganda
As you arrive at Kigali International Airport, Our Company representative (your safari driver) will be readily waiting to welcome you to Remarkable Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills. He/she will take you through the details of this short safari and embark on a tour of the pristine City with the Genocide Memorial Site, craft markets and local food markets being on the list of places to visit.
The City tour will be climaxed by a hot meal in one of the restaurants where if you are willing, get a chance to taste some of the country’s delicious cuisines. However, foreign dishes are always available in the menus. Embark on the journey used by previous gorilla trekkers that will involve crossing the border to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive the beautiful Bwindi in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking and drive to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi
Day 2 is the highlight of your 3 days Gorilla Trekking Uganda from Kigali because on this day your name will be included on the “gorilla trekking book of records” as one of the few lucky people to have been in the presence of the giant apes. On waking up, dress-up in appropriate gorilla trekking attire and have a hot cup of tea/coffee before transferring to the Park Headquarters for briefing.
The Park ranger will brief you on the dos and don’ts of trekking mountain gorillas and later allocate you to one of the gorilla family. By 8am you will move to the trailhead and to the forest to search for the mountain gorillas, a procedure that lasts 2-6 hours including the one hour in their presence. Return to the Park Headquarters where you will be given a trekking certificate and back to the Lodge for Lunch. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxing and body rejuvenating activities.
On arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you will choose to undertake a canoe ride to the different Islands of this Lake, guided walk through the local community to learn about their cultures or just swim in the bilharzia-free waters of this Lake.

Day 3: Explore Lake Bunyonyi and return to Kigali
Enjoy breakfast and have a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi where you will relish the magnificent views of the terraced rolling hills, numerous bird species and many others. Have Lunch and leave for Kigali, where you will be dropped off at the Airport or Hotel.
